Join us for the 2017 Meridian Youth Farmers Market!

In November 2015 Epique Events together with the City of Meridian announced plans for hosting a Youth based Farmers Market to be held in Meridian City Hall Plaza weekly beginning the Summer of 2016. This Farmers Market is based on a foundation of youth vendors but not exclusive to youth vendors. Along with produce, vendors will also be able to sell crafts and artwork (anything hand made). We are looking forward to expanding the market and hosting another season in 2017.

“Our community members have said they wanted a farmers market, but we wanted ours to be unique,” Meridian Mayor Tammy de Weerd said in an email. “The Youth Farmers Market gives kids an opportunity to profit from their hobbies, projects and their passions.”

The Meridian Youth Farmers Market is held in the Meridian City Hall Plaza on Saturdays throughout the Summer (June 24 - September 2) from 9am - Noon. We are currently looking for youth vendors who are interested in selling produce, crafts and artwork. The goal is to have 75% youth vendors (under the age of 21 and in school) at each market. The balance of vendors will be adult vendors. Below is a link to the vendor application. If you were a vendor in 2016, you can log on and you will see the new application.

The cost for 2017 remains $10/week for youth vendors, $20/week for adult vendors, $15/week for Nonprofit vendors and an additional $5/week if power is needed. There is a one time registration fee of $50 for the 2017 season.
